swedish beauty BOTANICA cream |
First of all, don't go sunbathing, if you have any inflammation processes in your body, if you are ill, if you take any kind of medicine or you have any systemic diseases, oncological disease, if you are pregnant or you have any specific genetic disease that doesn't permit sunbathing - first go and consult with your doctor.
And now actual tips:
- Always choose well known solarium studios, make a research. Tanning is not so healthy for your skin,so you want to make it at least not so damaging. And you don't want get yellowish tan, right? So - make a research, pay a bit more, but get quality!
- When you go to solarium first time, go for less time, i.e. 6 min. You will think that this won't give you any result, but, believe me, you don't want to burn your skin.
- Always,
ALWAYS!!! use cream. And not just any cream, but a special tanning
cream. It is very important, cause it moistens your skin and helps to
get a nice glowy tan much faster. I recommend to use tanning creams with
bronzer, natural melanin and color enhancers. Why? Because, ladies and gentlemen, it is a
secret of nice glowy tan :))) It decreases amount
of time, which you need to spend in solarium, so it also decreases
chances to get bad consequences. It makes sense! Also it is important to
buy good quality cream, yes, it will cost a bit more, but I remind you -
you don't want to get yellowy-orange and old looking, so take care on
your skin!
I have used many different brand creams, most of all I liked Australian Gold and Swedish Beauty. The one, which I am using currently and really liking is by Swedish Beauty BOTANICA line "Kiwi be friends". It has advanced DHA Bronzer, natural color enhancers and other nice stuff inside. - And here comes the next point: DON'T USE in solarium tanning creams with SPF in it. Because you will prevent a tan. So you will just waist money and get no result. Once again, use special creams for solarium.
- Don't go to solarium for more than 9-10 minutes. It gives no sense to do it. That is why you should use special tanning creams with bronzers to decrease amount of time spent in solarium. 9-10 minutes is optimal time and there is no need for more.
- Also about tanning schedule - best would be to go to solarium once every 2 weeks (best would be not to go to solarium, but you know what I mean ;)). Or at least not more than once per week.
- Give your skin a "vacation" from solarium. Make breaks in tanning for couple of months or more. This will help your skin to recover.
- This tip will be for people, who need to get tan very fast for a special occasion or a beach vacation, or whatever:) First of all, maybe you should try fake tan - it gives immediate result and is not so harmful for your skin. But if you still want to get a real tan, then here is my advice: Get a tanning cream with a bronzer. First time go to solarium for 6 minutes, then every other day for 9 minutes. 3-4 tanning sessions should be enough. But never go to solarium every day and for a longer tanning session - you will only burn your skin, it is very bad and painful.
- Go to the shower before sunbathing. You can do it at
home or in a tanning studio, but apply cream on washed skin. Don't
recommend to exfoliate it right before tanning, cause it will irritate
skin and can cause sunburn, you can exfoliate it in the evening of the
day before tanning.
And don't take a full shower/bath in the evening after tanning, cause you want your cream to work properly and make it's job, so that tan stays for longer time. I don't say - stay dirty :) No! Just don't wash yourself with a luffa and don't take a bath, that's all :). - If your skin gets burned, use special treatment creams immediately. As faster you treat it, as better will be the result. Be careful and if needed, see a doctor.
